SA Baxter is honored to have Robert A.M. Stern, Harry Allen, Paul Bundarin, Judith Frey, Paul Robilotti, Thomas Kurilla, Randy Florke, Anthony P. Browne and Colin Gentle working with them. These eight artists are a special part of the SA Baxter design team as they create their own limited edition Artisan Series -- individually designed hardware suites -- as well as contribute to SA Baxter's signature lines. Each brings to the table a unique design perspective.

These highly individual hardware suites were created by master artisans, who were given carte blanche to follow their design inspirations. Their works have previously been featured at Tiffany’s, the Metropolitan of Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, Steuben Glass, the influential design store Moss and lighting leader George Kovacs, while their client list runs the gamut from Ronald Reagan to Catherine Zeta-Jones to Whoopi Goldberg.

As timeless as they are beautiful, these pieces are available only in limited quantities and bears the SA Baxter hallmark stamp. The goal of the Artisan Series is to present clients with an option that pushes the boundaries of decorative hardware. For the discerning customer, who values a custom door hardware as much as a Mies van de Rohe chair or a La Cornue stove, the Artisan Series is a perfect match.
